Today, I visited the exhibition of works by Jens Fänge at Bonniers Konsthall. It was incredibly interesting because it was an unfamiliar artist for me. I really enjoyed the colors and depths in the paintings. The colors reminded me a lot of fauvism and Matisse’s early works. Jens Fänge captured me by the different textures he uses in his works, everything from fabric to toilet paper could be found in the description of the paintings. I also noticed that he has an enormous attention to detail when it comes to all types of floors in the pictures. On those, he uses a lot of patterns and colors that play tricks on one’s mind.
Jens Fänge at Bonnier Konsthall is on view until April 1st.
