What is Trump’s signature doing at an art gallery?

Peter Andrew Lusztyk, a Toronto photographer, bought Trump’s signature on ebay for US$300 and put it into his show at a gallery. In the interview with The Globe and Mail, Lusztyk mentions his inspiration from the spirit of Dadaist art. He also mentions that he framed the signature in a lightbox-fram, in order for it to seem almost as an sculpture.

As with every piece of art at an gallery opening, this piece was also subject to sale. It actually sold for $4800.
